Source of the Swine?

We were caught in the middle of two of these pig trucks on the way back form Guanajuato... The stench was unbearable. We made the mistake of stopping at Subway (precious gem in the rough) and having to endure it not twice but four times as a direct result. Luckily my 6 inch turkey on wheat stayed down. heeee.

I love you, Rob Marciano

Not only is CNN one of the few English speaking news channels here in Mexico, it also employs the lovely Rob Marciano. I watch the news every morning before school and it just gets my day started right to get the latest weather predictions from Rob. Yes, we're on a first name basis.

Hilarious

My friend Jill has been inspired and is trying to convince her future hubby to undertake this ambitious aisle proceeding at their wedding. Put on a diaper~ you might pee your pants.

Grandmother Classifies 79% Of Everything A Shame

So I'm riding the metro into D.C. the other day and pick up The Onion for my reading pleasure. My last experience with The Onion was very memorable since I didn't realize it was a news parody and thought that Obama was actually peeved at the campaign group MoveOn.org for sending out weekly emails asking people for their support during the election this fall (it was actually starting to get really annoying. I mean, if we're on the email list, we probably don't need that much convincing). This time, however, I was a knowledgeable Onion reader and found myself laughing out loud in the metro more than once. This story was particularly hilarious. Read it here. HA!

What's wrong with this picture?

No, its not that this UVA diploma is excessively large (as pretentious as we wahoos are, you should expect nothing less). Look just a little closer… around the edges. Yea, there you go. My ironic attempt at reframing my diploma after a trip to Office Max to size it down a bit for certification purposes. Maybe they shouldn’t have given me that degree after all…
